Dr. Hameed Fazal

Dr. Hameed Fazal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radio-Diagnosis and Deputy Medical Superintendent at MES Medical College Hospital, Perinthalmanna. A young radiologist from the coastal city of Kozhikode, Kerala, he combines clinical excellence with administrative leadership and a wide range of interests beyond medicine.

He completed his MBBS in 2012 and MD in Radio-Diagnosis in 2018, both from MES Medical College Hospital, where he continues to contribute to patient care, teaching, and hospital administration.

Dr. Hameed has also represented India on international academic platforms. As a Student Ambassador for the SUSI Alumni Programme of the U.S. Embassy, he participated in the International Young Alumni Conference held in Pakistan in 2013, reflecting his active engagement in leadership and global exchange initiatives.

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Hameed is a passionate traveller who has visited 50 countries and explored all Seven Wonders of the World. His love for cinema inspired him to start the movie blog The Confessions of a True Movie Buff, while his travel experiences became the foundation for his debut novel, The Knot List.

A creative personality with diverse interests, Dr. Hameed is also a vocalist in a band and a dedicated food enthusiast who enjoys discovering authentic local cuisines during his travels.

In addition to his academic and clinical responsibilities, Dr. Hameed Fazal serves as the Secretary of the MES District Committee, Calicut, contributing to educational and community initiatives within the MES organization.
