Dr. Purushothaman K.K

Dr. Purushothaman K.K serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Paediatrics at MES Medical College, Kerala. He holds an MBBS, DCH, MD, and DNB in Paediatrics and brings over 39 years of undergraduate and 23 years of postgraduate teaching experience.
A highly respected academician and clinician, Dr. Purushothaman is deeply committed to medical education, mentorship, and holistic paediatric training. His extensive teaching experience has guided generations of medical students and postgraduates toward excellence in paediatric care.

While his primary passion lies in teaching and academic leadership, he continues to play a supportive and facilitative role in research initiatives within the department and institution, encouraging evidence-based practice and collaborative learning.
